Imaginarium Theater is a new permanent challenge gameplay (similar to Spiral Abyss) added in version 4.7. It will be refreshed on a monthly basis – refreshed on every 1st of the month. Travelers need to use all Opening Characters (trial characters are provided) and select their own characters that meet the current requirements to enter the challenge.

How to unlock Imaginarium Theater
To unlock Imaginarium Theater, the player must:
– Reach Adventure Rank 35
– Complete the World Quest ‘Unbegun, Unending Story.’
What is Principal and Alternate Casts
Principal Casts
Principal Cast is the pool of Opening Characters that can be used directly when the gameplay challenges begin, and can be directly added to your team for combat. Travelers can use the Trial Characters provided or their own characters (as can be seen in the image above).
TLDR: Principal Cast are the characters you can use when entering any battle challenges in Imaginarium Theater.
Alternate Casts
Alternate Casts is the combination of Special Guest Stars (that don’t require to match the elements) and Available Characters (your own characters that match the elements). The characters that were chosen can NOT be used directly when the challenge started. Instead, Travelers must complete Combat Events, trigger Companion Events, or use other methods in order for Alternate Cast members to join the Principal Cast.
TLDR: Alternate Cast are the characters that you will bring but cannot use right off the bat in battle challenges and need to unlock them first.
How To Select Characters
Opening Characters
6 characters are designated at the start of each season. These 6 characters will be set as your initial Principal Cast. The Imaginarium Theater will offer a trial version of all 6 characters.
Required Elemental Types
Only characters that meet the Elemental requirements for that Imaginarium Theater season may participate.
For example: In the first season, only Pyro, Electro, and Anemo characters, as well as Special Guest Stars, may perform in this season’s show.
Supporting Cast
Characters chosen by your friends to offer as support characters, other than your own character.
For example: If you don’t have Kazuha, but your Friend has Kazuha and they add it to the Supporting Cast, you can choose to bring that Kazuha as one of your Alternate Casts. You can only invite one Supporting Cast character from the same friend in each season.
Special Guest Stars
A special pool of selectable characters in Imaginarium Theater that do not need to meet the Elemental requirements for that season.
What is Vigor
Characters in Imaginarium Theater start out with 2 Vigor, and after completing a Combat Event, characters will lose 1 Vigor. Once all Vigor is exhausted, the character cannot participate in combat.
What is Fantastical Blessings
After unlocking the Imaginarium Theater, the Fantastical Blessing available will refresh each season, offering buffs for the Opening Characters. These buffs will be effective both during Imaginarium Theater challenges and in your adventures outside the theater.
Remember that you need to have at least one of the characters in the Fantastical Blessing join your party to get the buffs.

Imaginarium Theater: Begin Challenge
You can use the Fantasia Tome in the Theater Lobby to start the “Imaginarium Theater” challenge.
The theme of the “Imaginarium Theater” will change every so often, with the participation conditions and special guest characters changing along with it.
The Opening Characters of each season will gain Fantastical Blessings, which will grant them special buffs in Performance Challenges and in your adventures across Teyvat.
You must select companions to form your party for the challenges according to the restrictions set by performance requirements. Each character starts with 2 Vigor. Each time they complete an Act’s Performance Challenge, they will lose 1 Vigor.
Imaginarium Theater: Performance Events
All sorts of events can happen during an Imaginarium Theater challenge. Of these, Companion Events allow Alternate Cast members to join your Principal Cast. Wondrous Boons can grant your party combat buffs. Mystery Caches can grant certain benefits, but also carry a certain amount of risk.
After selecting Companion, Wondrous Boon, or Mystery Cache Events, Events other than Combat Events will be refreshed.
When a Combat Event is selected, you will go on stage and start the current performance.
Characters who haven’t yet participated in the gamemode have a chance to provide External Audience Support for Companion Events and Wondrous Succor, bringing you additional benefits.
Imaginarium Theater: Party Setup
As the challenge proceeds, you can use “Restart Performance” to change your party setup and try the challenge again. The composition of your party setup is key to completing your performance.
Each character who takes part in the performance will start with 2 Vigor. Each time they complete a Combat Event, they will lose 1 Vigor. At the same time, 1 random Alternate Cast member will be chosen to join the Principal Cast.
Imaginarium Theater: Challenge Rewards
After completing Performance Challenges in the “Imaginarium Theater,” you can earn various goods from both “Debut Performance Gifts” and “Performance Tour Rewards.” Clearing the Performance Challenge in at least 3 Acts will unlock Wolfy’s “Thespian Trove.” There, you can exchange Toy Medals for Thespian Tricks.
Imaginarium Theater: Thespian Trove
The Thespian Tricks available from the Thespian Trove will be reset along with each new season of the Imaginarium Theater.
After exchanging for Thespian Tricks, you can use them on the corresponding character’s photo page.

What is Fantasia Flowers: How to Obtain and How to Use
You will get an initial of 100 Fantasia Flowers at the beginning of the challenge in Imaginarium Theater. You can spend the Fantasia Flowers and use it on certain events to get a character or a buff.
Meanwhile, you can get Fantasia Flowers by completing the challenge objectives.
For example, in the image above:
(1) Defeat all opponents to get 80 Fantasia Flowers.
(2) Defeat 2 opponents using Elemental Skill to get 20 Fantasia Flowers.
