Nehmen Sie sich Zeit und lesen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen und Hinweise zunächst ganz
durch. Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung anschließend an einem sicheren Ort auf, um
bei Bedarf darin nachschlagen zu können. Sollten Sie das Gerät veräußern, geben Sie diese
Bedienungsanleitung an den neuen Eigentümer weiter.

4. Produkteigenschaften
Hinweis
• Die Außensirene stellt ein sinnvolles Zubehör zur nk-Alarmzentrale „Feel Save“Fu
(00111977: nachfolgend Alarmzentrale genannt) dar, um im Alarmfall auch im Außenbe-
reich der gesicherten Umgebung Aufmerksamkeit zu erzeugen. Ohne rbindung mit derVe
Alarmzentrale hat die Außensirene keine verwertbare nktion.Fu
• Die Außensirene ist durch integrierte Sicherheitsschalter vor einem unberechtigten
Zugriff, bzw. Manipulation von außen geschützt.
5. Inbetriebnahme
Um die Außensirene sinnvoll einsetzen zu können, benötigen Sie die Alarmzentrale, die sie
idealerweise bereits korrekt installiert haben. Führen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen zur
Inbetriebnahme in der angegebenen Reihenfolge aus.
Warnung - Batterien
• Entfernen und entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien unverzüglich aus dem Produkt.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Batterien, die dem angegebenen p entsprechen.Ty
• Beachten Sie unbedingt die korrekte larität (Beschriftung + und -) der Batterien undPo
legen Sie diese entsprechend ein. Bei Nichtbeachtung besteht die Gefahr des Auslaufens
oder einer Explosion der Batterien.

Warning – Danger of hearing loss due to alarm
• Loud volumes, even over short periods, can cause hearing loss.
• Please note that when the alarm is triggered or when you are testing the device, the
emitted signal tone generates high sound pressure that can quickly cause hearing loss.
• Make sure you are not in the immediate vicinity of the alarm speaker for more than 3
minutes during a test or when the alarm is triggered.
4. Product Features
Note
• The external siren is a practical accessory for the el Safe wireless alarm control unitFe
(00111977: ferred to as “the alarm control unit” below) that will draw attention inre
outdoor parts of the secured premises when the alarm is triggered. The outdoor siren will
not function without a connection to the alarm control unit.
• The outdoor siren is protected from unauthorized access and tampering by integrated
safety switches.
5. Getting Started
To use the outdoor siren effectively, rst you’ll need to have the alarm control unit correctly
installed. get started, follow the directions below in the order specied.To
Warning - Batteries
• Immediately move and dispose of dead batteries from the product.re
• Only use batteries (or chargeable batteries) that match the specied type.re
• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and - markings) and insert
the batteries accordingly. ilure to do so could sult in the batteries leaking orFa re
exploding.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.
• Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries, as they may explode.
• Keep batteries out of the ach of children.re
• Do not short circuit the batteries/rechargeable batteries and keep them away from
uncoated metal objects.
• Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They
can contain toxic, environmentally unfriendly heavy metals.
• Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period
(unless these are being kept ady for an emergency).re
5.1 Batterien einlegen
Öffnen Sie die rschraubung am Sicherheitsschalter und nehmen Sie die schildförmigeVe
Frontabdeckung der Alarmsirene ab. Legen Sie vier D Batterien (Mono-Zellen) in das Batterie-
fach ein und beachten Sie dabei die richtige larität (+ und -).Po
5.2 Haus (House)-Code einstellen
• Setzen Sie alle Haus-Code Schalter so, dass diese mit den House-Code Schaltern der
Alarmzentrale übereinstimmen.
• Beachten Sie dazu auch das pitel in der Bedienungsanleitung derKa 8.3 Haus-Code
Alarmzentrale.
5.3 Alarmdauer auswählen
• Wählen Sie die gewünschte Alarmdauer aus, d.h. die Länge der Zeit, in der im Alarmfall das
Alarmsignal ertönt.
• Beachten Sie, dass Sie eine der 4 Optionen wählen müssen.
5.4 Verbinden mit der Fernbedienung (00111978) der Alarmzentrale
• Stellen Sie den chiebeschalter auf . Alle blauen atus-LEDs leuchten auf undON/OFF-S ON St
zeigen die Bereitschaft mit deaktiviertem Sicherheitsschalter an.
• Drücken Sie den ster, um die rnbedienung(en) der Alarmzentrale mit derLEARN Ta Fe
Alarmsirene zu verbinden.
• Drücken Sie die ste auf der rnbedienung, um die rbindung herzustellen.Ta DISARM Fe Ve
Die Alarmsirene bestätigt die rbindung mit einem kurzen „Piep“, sowie kurzem AueuchtenVe
der LEDs.
• Sollten Sie mehrere rnbedienungen für ihr Alarmsystem besitzen, wiederholen Sie diesenFe
Vorg Feang mit allen anderen rnbedienungen.
• Die Alarmsirene ist jetzt bereit für die Montage. Bringen Sie in diesem Zustand die schildför-
mige Frontabdeckung noch nicht an.
5.5 Montage
Hinweis – vor der Montage / Sicherheitsschalter deaktivieren
• Stellen Sie vor der Montage, sowie vor jeder Einstellungsarbeit, sicher, dass die Sicher-
heitsschalter der Sirene deaktiviert sind. Sonst wird ein Alarm ausgelöst.
• Die Sirene muss auf jeden ll mit der rnbedienung der Alarmzentrale verbunden sein,Fa Fe
da sich sonst die Sicherheitsschalter nicht deaktivieren lassen.
• Drücken Sie die sten und auf Ihrer rnbedienung gleichzeitig für zweiTa ARM DISARM Fe
Sekunden, um die Sicherheitsschalter zu deaktivieren.
• Bei deaktivierten Sicherheitsschaltern leuchten alle blauen atus-LEDs der AlarmsireneSt
auf und zeigen so an, dass die Montage oder Einstellungsarbeiten vorgenommen werden
können.
Warnung – Montage
• Prüfen Sie vor Montage die Eignung der vorgesehenen nd für das anzubringendeWa
Gewicht und vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich an der Montagestelle in der nd keineWa
elektrischen Leitungen, sser-, Gas- oder sonstige Leitungen benden.Wa
• Besorgen Sie sich geeignetes Montagematerial im chhandel bei anderen Material- undFa
Konstruktionsarten der für die Installation vorgesehenen nd.Wa
• Wenden Sie bei der Montage niemals Gewalt oder hohe Kräfte an.
• Montieren Sie das Produkt nur im Innenbereich oder in vor Umwelteinüssen geschütz-
ten Außenbereichen, z.B. unter einem ach.Vord
• Bohren Sie an der gewünschten Montagestelle mithilfe der Bohrschablone die Löcher und
setzen Sie die Dübel.
• Je nach nstruktionsart der Montagestelle (z.B. Holz) können Sie die das Produkt ohneKo
vorgebohrte Löcher direkt befestigen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die der des Sicherheitsschalters auf der Rückseite der AlarmsireneFe
vollständig eingedrückt wird – sie hören dazu ein deutliches „Klick“, wenn der Sicherheits-
schalter einrastet. Nur dann ist die Alarmsirene gegen Manipulation von außen geschützt.
6. Betrieb
Hinweis
Drücken Sie stets die sten und auf Ihrer rnbedienung gleichzeitig fürTa ARM DISARM Fe
zwei Sekunden, um die Sicherheitsschalter und damit auch die Alarmsirene zu aktivieren,
zu deaktivieren oder um Einstellung oder Batteriewechsel vorzunehmen.
• Drücken Sie die sten und auf Ihrer rnbedienung gleichzeitig für zweiTa ARM DISARM Fe
Sekunden, um die Sicherheitsschalter und damit auch die Alarmsirene zu aktivieren.
• Die blauen atus-LEDs erlöschen, te atus-LEDs zeigen den aktiven Zustand derSt ro St
Alarmsirene an.
• Innerhalb weniger Sekunden prüft die Alarmsirene das rhandensein eines nksignals vonVo Fu
der Alarmzentrale (00111977) und zeigt dies durch ein kurzes akustisches Signal an.
6.1 Funktionstest
Sie können die nktion der nun mit ihrer Alarmzentrale verbunden Alarmsirene testen. ellenFu St
Sie sicher, dass Sie im stfall das Alarmsystem jederzeit deaktivieren ( ) können, daTe DISARM
sie sonst andere Anwohner durch die hohen Lautstärken belästigen können, bzw. Sie sich
selbst diesen hohen Lautstärken nur sehr kurze Zeit aussetzen sollten. Es besteht die Gefahr
von Gehörschäden!
Sie können im stfall einen Alarm auslösen, indem Sie die nktion mit Ihrer rnbe-Te PANIC Fu Fe
dienung oder an der Alarmzentrale auslösen.
Sie können den ausgelösten Alarm NUR an der Alarmzentrale durch Eingabe der PIN oder
drücken von auf der rnbedienung deaktivieren.DISARM Fe
5.1 Insert the batteries
Remove the screws on the safety switch and take off the shield-shaped front panel of the alarm
siren. Insert 4 D-cell batteries into the battery compartment, taking care that the polarity
(+ and –) is correct.
5.2 Setting the building code
• Set all the building code switches so that they are the same as the building code switches on
the alarm control unit.
• Consult section in the operating instructions for the alarm control8.3 “Building code”
unit also.
5.3 Selecting the alarm duration
• Choose the duration of the alarm as desired. This is the length of time that the siren sounds
when the alarm is triggered.
• You may choose one of the 4 available options.
5.4 Connecting to the remote control (00111978) of the alarm control unit
• Set the sliding switch to . All the blue LEDs light up to indicate adiness withON/OFF ON re
the safety switch deactivated.
• Press the button to connect the mote control of the alarm control unit with theLEARN re
alarm siren.
• Pre ress the button on theDISARM mote control to establish the connection. The alarm siren
conrms the connection by a short beep and the LEDs lighting up briey.
• If you have multiple mote controls for your alarm system, peat these steps for each ofre re
them.
• The alarm siren is now ady to be installed. Do not place the shield-shaped front cover yet.re re
5.5 Installation
Note – before you install / deactivate the safety switch
• Before installing or adjusting the siren, make sure to deactivate the safety switches.
Otherwise the alarm will be triggered.
• The siren absolutely must be connected to the mote control of the alarm control unit,re
since otherwise the safety switches cannot be deactivated.
• Press both the and buttons on the mote control simultaneously for twoARM DISARM re
seconds to deactivate the safety switches.
• When the safety switches are deactivated, all the blue status LEDs on the alarm siren
light up to indicate that the installation or adjustment work can now be performed.
Warning – Installation
• Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen is suitable for the weight to be
mounted Also make sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines running
through the wall at the mounting site.
• If the wall on which the bracket is to be mounted is made of different material types
and construction types to those specied, purchase suitable mounting materials from a
specialised dealer.
• Never apply force during mounting.
• Only install the product indoors or in outdoor areas protected from the elements, e.g.
under an awning.
• Drill holes at the desired installation location using the drilling template and insert wlplugs.ra
• Depending on the construction of the installation location (e.g. wood), you may be able to
attach the product with screws directly without pre-drilled holes.
• Make sure that the spring of the safety switch on the ar of the alarm siren is pushed all there
way in; you’ll hear a distinct click when the safety switch snaps into place. Only then is the
alarm siren secured against external tampering.
6. Operation
Note
Press both the and buttons on the mote control simultaneously forARM DISARM re
two seconds to deactivate or activate the safety switches, and therefore the alarm siren,
whenever you need to adjust the siren settings or change the batteries.
• Press both the and buttons on the mote control simultaneously for twoARM DISARM re
seconds to activate the safety switches and therefore the alarm siren.
• The blue status LEDs go out and d status LEDs light up to indicate that the alarm sirenre
is active.
• Within a few seconds the alarm siren tests for the presence of a dio signal from the alarmra
control unit (00111977), and a brief tone sounds to indicate success.
6.1 Function test
You may now test the that the alarm siren, now connected to the alarm control unit, is functio-
ning properly. Make sure when testing that you can deactivate ( ) the alarm system atDISARM
any time. Otherwise you may disturb your neighbours with the loud noise. If necessary, expose
yourself to the high volumes only very briey. Otherwise, hearing damage could occur.
To test the alarm, use the PANIC function on your mote control or the alarm control unit.re
The triggered alarm can ONLY be deactivated by entering the PIN on the alarm control unit or
by pressing on the mote control.DISARM re
6.2 Haus (House)-Code Änderung
Sollten Sie den House-Code der Alarmzentrale ändern, müssen auch an allen anderen mit
dieser Alarmzentrale verbundenen Geräte die House-Code Schalter entsprechend eingestellt
werden.
• Setzen Sie alle Haus-Code Schalter der Alarmsirene so, dass diese mit den geänderten House-
Code Schaltern der Alarmzentrale übereinstimmen.
• Beachten Sie dazu auch das pitel in der Bedienungsanleitung derKa 8.3 Haus-Code
Alarmzentrale.
6.3 Verlust der Fernbedienung
Im lle des rlustes der rnbedienung (sofern diese Ihre einzige war), können Sie diese alsFa Ve Fe
Zubehör neu erwerben (00111978).
Weitere verbundene Fernbedienungen vorhanden:
• Deaktivieren Sie die Sicherheitsschalter ( , öffnen Sie die schildförmige Front-siehe p.6)Ka
abdeckung und gehen Sie vor, wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung in beschrieben.Kap.5.4
Keine weiteren Fernbedienungen vorhanden:
• Beachten Sie die pitel 8.2.1 und 8.2.3 der Bedienungsanleitung der Alarmzentrale undKa
verbinden Sie die neue rnbedienung zuerst mit der Alarmzentrale.Fe
Warnung – hohe Lautstärken!
• Aufgrund der verloren gegangenen rnbedienung sind Sie nicht in der Lage, dieFe
Sicherheitsschalter der Alarmsirene zu deaktivieren. Sie müssen diese jedoch öffnen, um
den aster zu erreichen und lösen so zwangsläug den Alarm aus.LEARN-T
• Besorgen Sie sich einen leistungsfähigen Gehörschutz und legen Sie diesen an, bevor Sie
die Alarmsirene öffnen!
• Öffnen Sie die schildförmige Frontabdeckung der Alarmsirene – der Alarm wird ausgelöst!
• Drücken und halten Sie die ster für ca. 5 Sekunden, bis der Alarm verstummt undLEARN Ta
die blauen atus-LEDs aueuchten. Die Sicherheitsschalter sind nun deaktiviert.St
• Gehen Sie vor, wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung im p. 5.4 beschrieben.Ka
7. Wartung und Pflege
7.1Batterien prüfen/ wechseln
• Drücken Sie die sten und auf Ihrer rnbedienung gleichzeitig für zweiTa ARM DISARM Fe
Sekunden, um die Sicherheitsschalter zu deaktivieren.

7.2 Reinigung
Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien, leicht feuchten ch und verwenden SieTu
keine aggressiven Reiniger. hten Sie darauf, dass kein sser in das Produkt eindringt.Ac Wa

6.2 Changing the building code
If you change the building code of the alarm control system, you must set the building codere
switches of all other devices connected to this alarm control unit to match.
• Set all the building code switches on the alarm siren so that they are once again the same as
the building code switches on the alarm control unit.
• Consult section in the operating instructions for the alarm control8.3 “Building code”
unit also.
6.3 If the remote control is lost
If the mote control is lost (and it was the only one you had), spares are available for purchasere
(00111978).
If there are other remote controls connected:
• Deactivate the safety switches ( ), open the shield-shaped front cover, and thensee section 6
proceed as described in of these operating instructions.section 5.4
If there are no other remote controls connected:
• Consult sections 8.2.1 and 8.2.3 of the operating instructions of the alarm control unit and
connect the new mote control to the control unit rst.re
Warning – High volumes
• Without the mote control, you will not be able to deactivate the safety switches onre
the alarm siren. Since you must open the siren to ach the button, you willre LEARN
unavoidably trigger the alarm.
• Before opening the alarm siren, procure effective hearing protection and put it on.
• Open the shield-shaped front cover of the alarm siren. The alarm will trigger.
• Press and hold the button for approx. 5 seconds until the alarm falls silent and theLEARN
blue status LEDs light up. The safety switches are now deactivated.
• Proceed as described in section 5.4 of these operating instructions.
7. Care and Maintenance
7.1 Testing/replacing the batteries
• Pre ress both the and buttons on theARM DISARM mote control simultaneously for two
seconds to deactivate the safety switches.
• Open the shield-shaped front cover and then proceed as described in section 5.1 of these
operating instructions.
7.2 Cleaning
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning
agents. Make sure that water does not get into the product.
